Fort Bend RC was founded by the merger of the First Colony RC Club and Houston RC Club and is recognized nationally as an AMA Gold Leader Club. Our club is a diverse group of pilots who enjoy flying jets, helicopters, sailplanes, and propeller aircraft. Aircraft range in size from peanut scale indoor models to huge 12 foot wingspan giant scale planes. The club operates and maintains a public RC model flying site in Rosenberg Texas and is one of the premier flying sites in the area.
The Club maintains a great relationship with Fort Bend County and gives back to the community by supporting charitable organizations such as Muscular Distrophy, St. Judes Childrens Hospital, and the Fort Bend Animal Shelter.
Since 2004, Fort Bend RC has partnered with the Dulles High School Air Force ROTC program and supporting the educational initiatives of this wonderful group of students.
