The Flying Site will be closed on Saturday, May 17th due to a scheduled event at the Fort Bend County Fair Grounds. The grassy area on the east side of the field will be used for parking during this event and no flying will be allowed on that day. Signs will be posted at the field and the gate will be locked for the entire day.
For those who just have to fly that day, Scobee Field is a good alternate public flying site to visit that day and meet some of our flying brothers. There is no fee for flying there, but be sure to bring your AMA card or you won't be allowed to fly.
